A new kitchen at the Hungerford Hub

Thanks to the people of  Hungerford who voted for us we came first in the Tesco Bags of Help blue token scheme, as a result of which we were the lucky recipients of a grant of £4000. We decided that our priority was to update the kitchen space so that we could provide good facilities for all users of the Hub.

After spending time deciding what was needed and having plans drawn up we appointed a Kintbury born tradesman, Leo Costantini, to carry out the install. He worked over a couple of  weekends to ensure that the library and Hub events were not disrupted.

We now have plenty of storage space for our china and glassware, a dishwasher to keep them all sparkling, a fridge and  a microwave, all housed in a beautiful bright new kitchen which will be a pleasure to use.

All this lovely new equipment, china and glassware is available to anyone hiring the Hub as well as those attending the great events put on by the Hub team.
