Smart Blinds

Beautiful made-to-measure blinds, shutters and awnings

Smart Blinds provides a wide range of both modern and traditional styles, fabrics and woods to compliment all rooms within your home or business.

Whether your main goal is aesthetics or functionality  – and we’re used to working with both as being equally important – we have the experience and product range to offer you the best possible solution.

As a family-run business, our approach is personal. We believe we offer the best levels of service and experience within the areas we cover. If you phone us, for instance, you’ll be answered by one of our own experienced staff, not by a call centre.

We welcome calls, but that’s not the only way to reach us. You can have a look at our website, email us or pop into either of our showrooms in Thatcham or Caversham for a chat to view our extensive range of fabrics, styles and options. All our contact details are below.

Whether you require a small single blind or ones for every window within your home or office, we’re confident that we’ll be able to provide and fit exactly what you need. We offer a free no-obligation measuring and consultation service, followed by professional fitting. During your appointment we will discuss your requirements and offer valuable product and fabric suggestions and recommendations based on our 20 years of experience. We will also provide you a written quote at the end of your appointment detailing exactly what’s included.

Motorised blinds

All of our blinds now come with the option of remote operation. Whether you are looking to enhance security, revolutionise your smart home, or simply make life easier, it is now available at the touch of a button on a hand-held remote, or even on a smart phone-app or via voice operation. These can also be linked to an automated home platform that you may already have installed.

For more information on this range of products, please click here.

You can also click here to read this article on the benefits of motorised blinds – some might be obvious, others perhaps less so.

Shutters

As well as blinds, we also supply and fit shutters. In many cases these are excellent alternatives to blinds, providing higher levels of insulation, privacy and security as well as adding a touch of Mediterranean elegance to your property.

As with so many things, there are a several different styles to choose from: this article helps classify them and explains the main features of each. If you need to discuss any of the issues in more detail, please get in touch.

Whatever kind of blind or shutter you have in mind and whether the job is large or small, we look forward to hearing from you.

“Absolutely thrilled with the service we received from Smart Blinds. We had plantation shutters installed and they are stunning, and excellent quality. Friendly, professional service and the most competitively priced of three companies we approached. Would highly recommend them.”
Arun Barnard-Weston, Marlborough
