The Hungerford Red Cross Shop is urgently looking for volunteers.
Can you spare a couple of hours or more to help in all aspects of running the shop:
- from manning the till
- sorting donations
- steaming and hanging clothing
- sorting books, films or music
You could even take a nationally recognised qualification in Retail,Customer Service and Team Leading, or just make new friends and get a discount when buying something irresistible from our shop.
We are a friendly, hard working team who are managing to raise much needed funds for the charity to help in their work here in the UK and abroad.
We are happy to give references to our volunteers. In recent years, five volunteers have gone on to get their first paid job after gaining confidence with us.

Just moved to area recently. Used to volunteer at cancer research in previous area. Would be interested to help. Always worked sorting etc. No till experience.
