Hearing loss and tinnitus

Need information about hearing loss or tinnitus?

The National Lottery funded UK Hear to Inform and Connect project, is supporting continued delivery and targeted expansion of Action on Hearing Loss’ face-to-face information provision for older people with hearing loss in Scotland, Northern Ireland and London and South East England.

The project aims to ensure older people (aged 50+) feel better informed about how to manage their hearing loss and better connected with their local communities, families and friends. Information staff and trained volunteers are providing information to older people and signposting to complementary local services and groups. Talks and presentations delivered to local health, social care and voluntary organisations, aim to empower them to make their services more inclusive for older people with hearing loss.

• The UK Hear to Inform and Connect project offers free, independent, local information to help you manage your hearing loss.
• We offer information for older people about hearing loss and tinnitus, hearing checks, information stands and talks, and can tell you about local services that can help you.
• Do you want to learn new skills, make new friends and help older people in your local area? Volunteer for our information service and help people get informed about hearing loss.
• We can work together to make your service even more inclusive for people with hearing loss.
