West Berkshire Green Exchange

WB Green Exchange logo

West Berkshire Green Exchange is a voluntary organisation that brings together West Berkshire groups or individuals who wish to take action on climate change in their local communities. Member groups look at a variety of issues such as transport, food, energy sources and production, with a number of groups running regular Swap Shop events around West Berkshire.

The Green Exchange was formed in 2010, following a Parish Planning conference where participants wanted a better dialogue between groups and the Council on green issues. Although affiliated with West Berkshire Council, the group is not part of the Council and has its own bank account and constitution.

Membership of the group is by simply signing up to our email circulation list to receive details of Forums and other sustainability news. We aim to meet quarterly for Forums, social events or Conferences. These events allow groups and individuals to keep up with the latest findings, share ideas, knowledge, and network.

We have Greenham Common Trust funding available of up to £500,  for groups to run climate change events and activities. Get in touch via our website www.wbge.org.uk for more information. Please also like our West Berkshire Green Exchange facebook page
