As of the 1st April, the Jubilee Centre will be under new management and will be run by the Kintbury Community for the Community! This is an exciting opportunity for the villagers of Kintbury and surrounding areas and provides great potential for the centre to be developed and improved in order to benefit everyone in the local community for many years to come.
The centre will continue to offer a wide range of classes and activities for all ages: In addition to hiring the hall space for a variety of clubs (such as gymnastics and badminton), baby and toddler groups, fitness classes and party/bouncy castle bookings, there are plans to convert the gym into a well-being studio offering additional classes and activities for all ages and abilities.
Following the handover on 1st April 2016, many of the existing classes and clubs will continue. Crèche facilities will also be available for some of the fitness classes. If you would like to attend any of the classes and clubs, book the space for your own activities, or offer support in terms of your time or donations, please look on the website for further information: www.kintburyjubileecentre.co.uk or our new facebook page. We would also love to hear from you with any new ideas that you feel will benefit the wider community.
Last but no means least, a big thank you to everyone who has supported us so far whether it has been through giving your time or donating money to the centre. We have achieved a great deal in a very short time thanks to your efforts.
Neil Patterson, Kintbury Jubilee Centre Management Committee
