Santa’s Fun Run Comes to Hungerford

facefunrunHungerford’s Santa Fun Run is a Charity spectacular, raising funds for many Rotary charities. Each runner also has the opportunity to raise funds through sponsorship for their own favourite charity or to add to our Rotary fund raising.

This is Hungerford’s first Santa Fun Run, although similar events are run all over the country. The sight of Santas running and walking the 5Km course around Hungerford will provide the town with a glorious spectacle to highlight the festive season. If you are not running, come along to see and support all the Santas as they complete the course.  There are free Santa Suits for all Entrants.

How do I Enter ? All applications are made online at www.santasfunrun.net using our entry form with online payment. A couple of weeks before the run we will contact you regarding collection of your free Santa Costume. We have to limit the number of entries so make sure that you get in early. All finisher’s will get a medal and a goody bag.

Can Children enter as well as Adults ? Yes, young people between the ages of 5 and 15 will be able to enter, as long as they are accompanied throughout the run by a responsible adult. They will get a free Santa Suit and a finisher’s medal. If there is sufficient interest we will also arrange a short Santa Toddle for parents with push chairs or buggies. Entries of children and young people must be made by a responsible adult.
