A safer community is one that we can all live in, together, without fear of harm or risk of injury. The Safer Communities Partnership’s main goal is to achieve this by working with responsible leaders in partner agencies to protect the community and ensure that those who live and work in West Berkshire feel safe.
The partnership consists of representatives from local authorities including:
- West Berkshire Council
- Thames Valley Police
- Thames Valley Probation Service
- Community Rehabilitation Company
- Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service
- Housing Associations
Collectively, it is our aim to strengthen the community and create a safe and healthy environment. We wish mobilize communities, encourage the adoption of safer behaviours and strive to work as not only a partnership, but as a society, to protect those who are vulnerable in our community.
