Berkshire Young Farmers encourage you to listen to ‘Put That Hoedown’ – a fun new song just released by Essex Young Farmers in aid of young people who are experiencing mental health issues due to rural isolation.
Essex Young Farmers have launched their upbeat new single with the aim of getting into the charts by the 11th May. Complete with celebrity guest appearances and dance routine, the chart-topping challenge is in aid of the NFYFC’s Rural+ campaign which is raising money for the charities Young Minds UK and The Farming Community Network.
The campaign aims to raise awareness of rural isolation and mental health issues in young people and support those who suffer from, or are affected by them. In some cases, the difficulties of accessing real social networks, education, transport and services in rural areas can lead to a feeling of isolation and social exclusion.
To help this song get into the charts, you can download it here from iTunes, for just 79p.
“Music in particular is a proven mental boost. It can help create a positive mindset so it feels like quite an apt thing to be doing for those charities.” – Sam Iddison, County Chairman.
