Chisbury Wellbeing Centre Open Day raises £358 for The Brooke Charity

IMG_0464Quiescence Wellbeing and Creative Difference Counselling hosted the Chisbury Wellbeing Centre Open Day and raised £358 for The Brooke charity for working horses and donkeys. Lorna Benbow (Quiescence Wellbeing) and Chris Paul (Creative Difference counsellor and life coach) held the charitable event on Saturday 16th July to celebrate the opening of their new premises.

Lots of people attended the day at their new premises on Lower Farm in Chisbury, enjoying free taster sessions for Indian Head Massage, Manicure & Pedicure, Thai Foot Massage, Meditation and Tarot readings. There was a raffle (won by Arabella Tancred of Hungerford) and a chance to feed carrots to Dougal the pony.

IMG_0463Not appearing during the day but also doing her bit was Princess Jessica Benbow. She held a sponsored 24 sleep during the event and into the next day to raise £70 of the total. For those who don’t know her, Jessica is black cat who helps Lorna and Chris run their businesses, mainly in a supervisory role.

Lorna and Chris really want to thank everyone who came or sent their best wishes.  They had a very special day in a very special new place while raising money for a good cause.

You can contact Lorna (07818 644094) or Chris (07515 759587) if you want to know more about what they offer.  Otherwise we’ll let the pictures speak for themselves!
