Newbury Volleyball Club welcomes beginners

Have you ever thought about trying Volleyball? As the number one participation sport for women and number three for men worldwide, it is one of the world’s most popular team sports: and we are lucky enough to have an award-winning club for this exciting and dynamic sport right on our doorsteps.

The Newbury Volleyball Club are a friendly, multinational club, and proud winners of ‘Volleyball Club of the Year’ by Volleyball England. They have also been voted ‘Open and Inclusive Sports Club of the Year’ by The Foundation for Sports and the Arts.

This means a great opportunity for anyone interested in having a go at volleyball, as the club are welcoming beginners in their new ‘Starter Sessions’. These are held at Trinity School in Newbury, at 7.15pm for juniors and 8pm for adults on Tuesday nights. They encourage players of all levels of experience to join in, and the first two sessions are free – all the more reason to come along!

If you’re interested in joining, please contact one of the members – click here for contact details. You can also follow Newbury Volleyball Club on Facebook or Twitter, or visit their website at newburyvolleyballclub.co.uk
