New Head Teacher for Kintbury St Mary’s

Kintbury St Mary’s new head teacher has spent time getting to know his new pupils in preparation for taking up the role in September.

Mr Ronnie Green spent several days working with interim head Mrs Fiona Henderson towards the end of summer term, familiarising himself with every aspect of life at the village primary school.

Previously deputy head at Silchester Primary, Mr Green said he had already experienced the warmth of the welcome from everyone at Kintbury and was looking forward to his new role.

Mrs Henderson, whose time at Kintbury encompassed the whole of the last academic year, guided the school to a ‘Good’ OfSted grading. At the school’s end of term assembly, Head of Governors Alison Mitchell praised Mrs Henderson for her dedication, enthusiasm and inspiring leadership during her time at Kintbury.
