Marlborough Floral Club

Marlborough Floral Club meets 2pm on the first Thursday of the month (apart from January) at the Mildenhall Village Hall  (postcode SN8 2NU)

There are workshops, demonstrations and seasonal lunches. The programme is worked out and given out on the yearly programme sheet along with the competition titles. Members arrive a little earlier than 2 and every month are able to purchase necessary equipment from the well stocked sales table. Buying raffle tickets are a must because that gives you the chance to win one of the amazing flower arrangements. After the notices are read we then either have a workshop or just watch with amazement as creations are created before our eyes. The demonstrator knows all the names of the flowers and foliage and often at the end you can calmly think to yourself, ‘Well I can do that now’

After the raffle has been drawn there is then time for tea, chat with fellow members or the demonstrator or buy plants brought in by other members or buy cards from the card table.

The club is a member of the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS)

Come along as a visitor to see what a friendly club we are.
