Lambourn Village Show

Lambourn Village Show 2018 was another success. Although entries were down on 2017 due to our very dry summer this year, there were some exceptional exhibits, and it was fabulous that many more people had entered their hanging baskets, tubs and gardens this year.

Great too to see so many people at the Sports Club to see the Show – record crowds. It was great to see a few more children and newcomers taking part.

Many thanks to all those who helped to run the Show and to the businesses in the Lambourn Valley that donated money to help stage the show including Austin Brickwork, Brunskill Beef, Lambourn Dental Surgery, Cutting Hedge Gardens, Universal Stores, White Horse Feeds, Lambourn Pharmacy, E J Wicks, Pilgrim Bond & Brewer.

Many thanks to those who left their exhibits at the end of the Show for auction – £93 was raised for Sports Club funds.

Main prize winners were:
Division 1 aggregate – Mr Robert Read
Division 2 aggregate – Mr Ivor Evans
Division 3 aggregate – Mrs Gill Wood
