Lambourn – Saint Michael and All Angels

Linked by the upper reaches of the River Lambourn, the Lambourn Valley Benefice consists of the Parishes of Eastbury Saint James, East Garston All Saintsand Lambourn Saint Michael & All Angels. The three parishes have distinctive characteristics and individual strengths and challenges but share a common purpose to ensure the continuance and enhancement of God’s work in the Lambourn Valley – “The Valley of the Racehorse”.

Whether you are a local resident or a visitor, we warmly welcome you and hope that our website gives you the information you need. We would be delighted to see you at one of our churches either for Sunday worship or for some other service or event:

Eastbury Saint James has recently raised sufficient funds to install a toilet and kitchen facilities, helping to make the church more welcoming for services and for social events.

East Garston All Saints sees the church as a place of celebration and happiness as well as a refuge for worship, tranquillity, peace and prayer; a church for everyone with a vision for the church at the centre of the community.

Lambourn Saint Michael & All Angels “The Cathedral of the Downs” has a strong choral tradition and good links with Lambourn Church of England Primary School which we are continuing to develop. Our recently installed toilets and servery will assist in our aims to attract more people of all ages to join us in worship and to expand our range of concerts and other community events.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
