Richard Benyon, MP invites West Berks residents to discuss the EU Referendum

Message from Richard Benyon, MP:

I have been struck by how seriously people are taking the decision we are to make on 23rd June. I also detect that most people are tired of standard “debates” between the two sides which seem often to generate more heat than light.

In addition to the standard street campaigning that I am doing, I am proposing to hold a number of events in West Berkshire for people to hear the case for remaining in the EU. I know that the “leave” campaign are doing the same.

My events will seek to be a conversation on perhaps the most important decision we will take in our lives – not a haranguing!

The first is on Friday 3rd June at the Burdwood Centre, Thatcham RG19 4YA, 6.30pm – 8pm. I will share this with Jonny Roberts who stood as the Labour candidate in the 2015 election.

The second is on Friday 10th June at Newbury Rugby Club, Monks Lane, Newbury RG14 7RW, 6.45pm – 8pm. This one is just with me.

Both meetings will, of course, be free. No need to book, just turn up.

There will be other meetings and activity in the lead up to June 23rd. If you can’t make either of the above notify me at richard@richardbenyon.com and I will gladly inform you of any events. Further information is available on my websitewww.richardbenyon.com.
