Grief and loss – how to deal with it

Grief and loss affect us all at some point during our lives. Sometimes it directly affects us in an overwhelming way, as in the death of a partner or parent. Sometimes the loss is less overwhelming, such as losing a friend or being made redundant, but it still has an impact on us. In the video below I talk about some of the symptoms of normal reactions to grief and loss. I also talk about how best to work through those symptoms and how you might support others to do so.
