Pupils at Kintbury St Mary’s got all dressed up in Festive fashion for their school charity.
The school held a Christmas Jumper day at the end of the autumn term, with pupils making a charity donation for showing off an impressive array of knitwear featuring reindeer, Santas and all things Christmas – including bells and flashing lights.
Every year, Kintbury’s Year Six pupils adopt a charity and this time round they have opted for Hounds for Heroes, which trains and provides assistance dogs for injured and disabled men and women of the Armed Forces and Civilian Emergency Services.
The school’s senior pupils hold a variety of events through the year and regularly raise over £1,000 – a target the current Year Six are well on the way to matching.
