This year the children’s writing competition entrants were asked to write a 500-word story or 5 verse poem starting ‘The mist was rising. I was lost.’

The competition was judged by children’s author Debi Evans who was very impressed by the number and standard of entries.  She gave constructive feedback and encouraged all students to continue their creative writing.
