Action for Children is a national charity that supports children in need. They are looking to recruit Here4Me volunteer Mentors and Advocates to support local children in care and on the edge of care in our local area.
Mentors are diverse, unique, dynamic individuals who commit to spending a few hours a month visiting a young person with the hope of building a long term friendship based on shared interests.
Advocates support young people to ensure their thoughts, wishes and feelings are heard when decisions are being made about their future.
Full training is given for both roles and all volunteers will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
