Hear the classic songs of Led Zeppelin played acoustically by three members of the UK’s leading Led Zeppelin tribute band Whole Lotta Led.

Formed in 1996 Whole Lotta Led have toured throughout the UK and have amassed a large and loyal following.

Now three members of the band have formed ‘Light Zeppelin’, an offshoot of the main group, to perform classic Led Zeppelin songs on acoustic instruments bringing a whole new dimension to Led Zeppelin’s incredible music.

Light Zeppelin are: Lee Pryor (vocals and guitar), Geoff Hunt (bass and mandolin) and Nick Ferris (guitar).

1968 – 2018 Celebrating 50 Years Of Led Zeppelin with Light Zeppelin

In August 1968 four young musicians convened in a small rehearsal room in London and performed an old Johnny Burnette song ‘Train Kept A-Rollin’.

This was the birth of Led Zeppelin.

Little did Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, Robert Plant or John Bonham realise at the time what the future held for them but within a very short period of time they were the biggest band in the world and despite disbanding in 1980 they still are.

Throughout 2018 Whole Lotta Led and Light Zeppelin will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the birth of Led Zeppelin with a show that will include songs from all of their studio albums, ranging from their beautiful acoustic songs to the huge anthems we have come to know and love.

Now in their 22nd year, Whole Lotta Led and 4th year for Light Zeppelin are widely regarded as the closest to the original that you will ever hear with their WLL five piece line-up & 3 piece line-up reproducing the songs as near to the album versions as possible.

50 years on Led Zeppelin’s influence and importance is as strong as ever, Light Zeppelin are here to demonstrate why.

“You’re getting great reviews, I wish you all the best” Jimmy Page
