A Mindful Walk in Nature

A mindful walk in an area of natural beauty.

The Walk: Mindfulness is about being fully aware of our experience in the present moment. Practising mindfulness has been found to increase wellbeing and improve aspects of mental health. Most of us are mindful at times without necessarily realising it, and walking in nature often provides an opportunity to open up to our experience in the present moment and appreciate the world we live in. The walk will be in silence with guided short practices focusing on the body, the breath and our natural surroundings.

The leader: Suzi is a retired educational psychologist and qualified yoga teacher. She has worked in local authorities and in private practice. She has practised meditation for over 30 years and has extensive experience of teaching mindfulness with groups.
