Christmas Extravaganza

Hungerford Chamber of Commerce has organised the Extravaganza for over 25 years to attract thousands of visitors to Hungerford and provide our local voluntary organisations an opportunity to raise valuable funds on their street stalls.

The Extravaganza committee has been working hard to raise £15,000 so far for this year’s event on Friday 8 December and they are looking for a final £2,500 in sponsorship. If you can help please contact Nigel Perrin on

New Chair

After nearly 30 years of supporting local businesses and lobbying and advising on issues such as tourism, parking and business rates in Hungerford, the Chamber of Commerce is looking for a new Chair.  The Chamber hopes to forge stronger links with the bigger businesses in town and ex-Mayor Martin Crane will take a more prominent role on the committee but is not in a position to become Chair himself. The rest of the current committee are small business owners with significant time constraint issues.

David Small has agreed to continue as temporary Chair until the Chamber meeting in February at which point the Chamber may have to be dissolved unless a new Chair is appointed at that meeting.  David is happy to receive enquiries from anyone interested on 07713 094759 or
