Bluebird Care wins Customer Services Prize at 2017 Newbury Business Awards

We have mentioned a few times recently that Penny Post won the Digital & Social media award in the Newbury Weekly News Best in Business 2017 awards earlier this month. We’d like to repeat our congratulations to the nominees, the organisers – and the other winners.

One of the other winners was Bluebird Care, in the Customer Services category. We’re happy to publish below a message from them.

 

Bluebird Care, one of the main providers of home and live in-care in West Berkshire, flew off with the top prize in the Customer Services category at the 2017 Newbury Weekly News Best In Business Awards.  

The directors, office team and members of the company’s 5-year club attended the prestigious gala evening at Newbury racecourse on Friday 3rd November where they were presented with their award.

The award recognises the passion that Bluebird Care demonstrates in providing an exceptional service for its customers and the way it goes the extra mile to ensure that each one receives the very best individualized care and support service possible.

Care Manager Hayley Davies said: “I am delighted to receive this award on behalf of the whole team of care assistants and office staff who work tirelessly to ensure that Bluebird Care’s customers receive the very best care at home.”

Bluebird Care Managing Director, John Prendergast, remarked: “Our focus has always been to implement newer and better ways of providing a care service through listening to our customers and staff and keeping them at the heart of what we do. 

By evolving how we use technology and communication for example, we’ve made significant changes to how we support the needs of our customers.  There is no doubt that the amazing success we have enjoyed over the last 10 years is precisely because our customers trust us to put their priorities first and our staff work hard to meet and exceed their expectations. This award is a well-deserved recognition for all those staff.”

Bluebird Care is a provider of home and live-in care. It specialises in working with customers who suffer from dementia, physical and learning disabilities, and work alongside their families, social services and clinical commissioning groups to ensure each person receives the care they need.

Bluebird Care offers a unique service of tailored care visits which range from anything from short care visits to full live-in support. As well as personal care it also helps with meal preparation, welfare checks, shopping, social trips, visits to the hospital and provides extra support for post-discharge customers.
