The Naked Grape Wine Merchants, Hungerford

Hungerford’s Wine Merchant The Naked Grape on Hungerford High Street (opposite Barclays Bank) is the place for all wine lovers to find something to inspire and delight.

We can offer expert advice should you need it, or equally, leave you to browse our extensive range of hand-chosen, small production wines.

We are here to help you choose the right wine for all occasions be they dinner parties, weddings, gifts or even a quiet evening in!

Crammed into our 18th Century building with open beams and wonky floors, you will find an ever changing and expanding range of wines, spirits, lager and ales. We now have over 45 local real ales (inc organic) and 35 imported lagers – any four for £10.

Boutique gins and mixers, plus single malts and a range of eclectic liqueurs adorn the hand-built oak displays.

Wine Tastings

There are plenty of opportunities to taste our superb range of wines, with our current favourite open on Friday nights and Saturdays, plus we have a whole year of tasting events and a dedicated tasting room which we call The Feather Room.

MD and Wine Buyer Simon chooses everything we stock through a rigorous tasting process.

Weddings and Events

We have 17 years experience of catering for events from a sit-down meal for 800 to intimate parties for handful of your closest friends.  We can offer free glass hire as well as free delivery for purchases of 12 bottles or more and a sale or return service for larger orders.
